How it works

  1. Unlock the clues

Three of them. Each one gives a little more away.

  2. Lock it in

Guess on any clue. Same chance in the draw; we just note how early you called it.

  3. The name drops

We name the main fighter, then draw three winners from the right guesses. Winners hear from us by email.

Guessing closes on 5 December 2026, 23:59 (CET). 18 and over, living in the Netherlands or Belgium. One guess per person; the last one counts. Contest terms

Who we are

Boxing Influencers™ is a trade name of WFL Events & Media B.V., Daalmeerstraat 3, 2131 HD Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 69253552. We are responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests about your data: info@boxinginfluencers.nl.

What we collect and why

When you join the list. Your email address and, if you give it, your first name. With it we store which form you used, the time you signed up, the text you agreed to, and the campaign link you arrived through (for example utm_source). We use this only to send you the announcement of the next Boxing Influencers event, the fight card, ticket news and related updates. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). In the signup form at the top of the page, entering your email address and pressing “Join the list” is that consent; in the form further down you tick the box.

The emails you get. After you join, you get a short welcome series: the welcome email straight away, then three more over the following two weeks (the founder and what we stand for, previous editions, and what comes next). After that we email you when there is news. Every email has a link to your own settings page, where you choose what you get: everything, one email a month, only ticket news or only news about the fighters, or a break of 90 days. To make that link work, we store a random code on your profile; the link contains that code, never your email address. Your choice is stored with your profile, and we send you one short email to confirm it. A pause ends automatically on the date shown.

When you join the press list. On the press page, journalists, editors, photographers and creators can join a separate press list. We then store your name, work email address, media or outlet and role, and the text you agreed to. We use it only to send press releases, embargoed announcements and accreditation news, and to handle your accreditation and interview requests. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box.

When you play Guess the main fighter. On the game page you can guess the main fighter of the next edition. We then store your guess, the clue you guessed on, the time and your email address (and first name, if you give it). We use it only to run the contest: to find the right guesses, draw the winners and contact them. The legal basis is the contract you enter by accepting the contest terms (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). With the same box you agree to join the list (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); you can unsubscribe at any time and your guess still counts. We delete the entries of people no longer on the list three months after the winners are drawn.

When you open our emails. Our email platform records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can see what works and stop sending to addresses that never read us.

When you visit the site. Our host processes your IP address and browser details in short-lived server logs to deliver the page and keep it secure. To stop abuse of the signup form, your IP address is checked against a limit of ten sign-ups per hour and kept for at most an hour. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. The legal basis for all three is our legitimate interest in a working, secure and measurable site (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics and marketing. Only if you allow it in the cookie settings, Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) and, while we run campaigns, Meta, TikTok and Google Ads receive data about your visit. When you sign up with marketing cookies allowed, we pass a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address to those platforms so they can measure the sign-up; they never see the address itself. See the cookie policy.

Who processes it

We use processors who act on our instructions under a data processing agreement: Klaviyo (email platform), Vercel (hosting and visitor statistics) and Upstash (signup limit). Google, Meta and TikTok process data under their own terms when you allow analytics or marketing cookies. Some of these companies are based in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

Your email address and signup details stay on the list until you unsubscribe; the same goes for the press list. A preference you choose is kept with your profile for as long as you are on the list. We then delete them within 30 days, except for a record that you unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again by mistake. Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Server logs are deleted within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a usable format. Email info@boxinginfluencers.nl and we reply within a month. You can withdraw your consent at any time: every email has an unsubscribe link and a link to your settings page, and the cookie settings are always one click away at the bottom of the page. Withdrawing consent does not affect what happened before. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

When we change how we use your data, we update this page and the date at the top.

Contest terms

Guess the main fighter.

Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. Who runs it

Guess the main fighter is run by WFL Events & Media B.V., trading as Boxing Influencers, Daalmeerstraat 3, 2131 HD Hoofddorp, the Netherlands, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 69253552. The contest follows the Dutch Code of Conduct for Promotional Games of Chance 2014 (Gedragscode Promotionele Kansspelen).

2. Who can play

Anyone aged 18 or over who lives in the Netherlands or Belgium. Employees of WFL Events & Media B.V. and everyone involved in organising the next edition, including the fighters and their teams, cannot win. Playing is free; you don’t have to buy anything.

3. How to play

On the game page, guess the name of the main fighter of the next Boxing Influencers edition and accept these terms. You can guess until 5 December 2026, 23:59 (CET). One entry per person and per email address: if you guess more than once, your last guess before closing counts. A guess is right when it clearly names the main fighter we announce, by name or by their known handle; small spelling mistakes are fine. Which clue you guessed on does not change your chance.

4. The prize and the draw

Three winners. Each gets a VIP arrangement for two at the main event. The arrangement covers two tickets with VIP access on the night; travel and accommodation are not included. After we announce the main fighter, we draw the winners at random from all right guesses. The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. If the event moves to another date, the prize moves with it; if it is cancelled, we offer a VIP arrangement for the next edition instead. Any gaming tax (kansspelbelasting) on the prizes is paid by us.

5. Winners

We email the winners within 14 days of the draw, at the address they played with. A winner who doesn’t reply within 7 days loses the prize and we draw again. We may ask for proof of age. With the winner’s permission we may share their first name and place of residence.

6. Your data

We use your guess and your details only to run this contest, as described in the privacy policy. When you play with your email address, you also join the Boxing Influencers list: we email you the announcement of the main fighter and news about the event. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email or on your preferences page; your guess still counts.

7. Fair play

We may exclude entries that break these terms, come from automated scripts or misuse the contest. We may change or end the contest if circumstances force us to, without disadvantaging players; changes are published on this page. Dutch law applies.

8. Questions and complaints

Email info@boxinginfluencers.nl. We reply within 14 days.
